DocuDMS^® is a remote tool for a document management application

Supported operating systems: Win 98 – Vista

Using the tool is quite simple. With the COM interface (ActiveX) access can be done from every application. All features are capsuled internal, including document preview, new document, batch-imprt, E-Mail and data-connection to MS Word or MS Access.

To create a new document, the following code line is fully sufficient:

myObject.Docmd.RunMacro "ExternBriefneu"

All fields in the appointmentform can be assigned to default-entries, e.g. user, topic, begin, duration, location, contact- and project-assignment etc.

Even the Batch-Import of a monitored directory can be initiated with only one code line:

myObject.Docmd.RunMacro "ExternDokumentBatchScanner"

The further operation (Import of the documents, attribution and integration in DMS^®) is performed directly in DocuDMS^®.

The whole application consists of several parts:

	Detailform for documentcreation.
	Documentlists to group for contacts, projects or files references.
	Batch-Import for überwachte folders (fax, scanner and general)
	Creation of circular letters.
	PDF coverter
	Database (MS Access or MS SQL Server)

Features:

	Automatic specification of Document-filename at creation.
	Automatic PDF-creation with parallel filing of both files in one data-record (original-document altogether with PDF-document).
	Automatic data-transfer of address, title, date, topic, etc. to a MS Word-document (appr. 100 parameters can be transfered).
	Automatic contact-, project-assignment and awarding of a file-reference to imported documents.
	Simple duplication of documents at the push of a button.
	Manages all formats like EXCEL, WORD, Autocad, photos, text etc.

	Anytime external access to documents (Filed documents are arranged by years and weeks, file names are consisting of the exact import-time and date)
	Full-automated integration of E-Mail-Documents in DMS^®.
	E-Mail transmission of a document with automatic PDF-conversion.
	Documentpreview of all common file-formats (incl. PDF, dwg and dxf).
	Resubmission with alarm-function.
